We welcome patients ages 12 and up, of all genders, races, body shapes, and sizes. We practice a high-touch, relationship-based model to deliver exceptional care.

  • In-person appointments are available at two Maryland locations:

    -Howard County- Woodstock office near Rt. 29 and Waverly Woods Village Center

-Montgomery County-The Friendship Heights Village

Expert Evaluation

Comprehensive assessment (up to 120 min) aimed to help understand your struggles with food and eating and uncover other underlying or coexisting emotional and behavioral problems that stand in the way of your progress and recovery.

We will help clarify your diagnosis, review the best treatment options and make a plan how to help you feel better.

Follow-up visits

Subsequent visits for established patients (30 or 60 min), individualized to help with your goals like e.g:

  • decrease anxiety about food and eating so that you enjoy social outings

  • reduce thoughts about food and body so you have more time for other things

  • improve mood and feel more hopeful

  • achieve more restful sleep to feel more motivated and energized

  • decrease physical symptoms associated with recovery to stop reinforcing disordered thoughts

  • feel less fearful and preoccupied so that you can fully engage in therapy

Second opinion consultation

Comprehensive consultation for patients questioning their diagnosis, recommended treatment plan or curious about other treatment options.

Highly recommended if you have multiple medical or mental health conditions and comorbidities.

Bariatric Mental Health Evaluations

Comprehensive evaluations for individuals who are pursuing bariatric surgery (2.5- 3 hours). Focused on assessing understanding of life-long implications as well as readiness for the procedure. Aim is to identify areas that should be addressed to maximize overall success of the surgery and support long-term health outcomes.

Education for caregivers

30-60 min fully individualized sessions, focused on enhancing your ability to support your loved one who has an eating disorder.
